Samekit Jan Vikas Kendra came into existence in the year 1992. Based on the values
of shared commitment. It has created its own place in the sector of development. As
a strong pillar of humanities development, it was registered under Society
Registration Act 21, 1860 in the year 2000.
Since its inception, it has engaged with indigenous tribes namely Scheduled Tribes,
Scheduled Caste, and Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG). The
organization respects the inherent potential, societal values, culture, and livelihood
of indigenous tribes walking the path to creating a sustainable society.
It has reached out to three districts namely East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and
Seraikela-Kharsawan covering 13 blocks and 212 villages.
The road map of organizations that started with charities turning to empowerment is
at present dedicated to Sustainable Development Goals. Leaving No One Behind
those struggling in difficult situation become its foremost commitment.
The organization gives its full support in enhancing the ideas, and knowledge
through participation in the sector of Soil and Water Conservation, Agriculture and
Livelihood, Women’s Development, Adolescent Life Skill Development, Mother
And Child Health Care, Go Green Action, and Network.
Over the years, the organization firmly grounded itself surrounded by the solidarity
Of people, civil societies, and government agencies making us move forward for
Actualizing vision, goal, and mission.
